To the best of our knowledge all parts are original except the engine upgrade, Bennett trim tabs, depth finder with speed indicator, swim step, blower system and enclosed cooling on the Hercules engine. The current owner completed the restoration and showed the boat at many shows over the years, plus used it to go joyriding on local lakes. Touch came back to the US in 2002 from Victoria BC, Canada. This engine replaced the original Chrysler Crown sometime in the 1940s because the Chrysler was considered inferior. The engine is a Chris Craft M Hercules block that Chris Craft accessorized. The aft windshield was an option and not many were produced with this configuration. The front and rear windshields are factory originals. Touch was delivered new from the Algonac Michigan factory to Green River Boatworks, Green River Wisconsin on April 29, 1930. She is a Triple Cockpit Runabout with a swim step making her 24 overall. Touch is a 1930 Chris Craft Model 102 with hull #1984. Powered by a 6-cylinder Hercules engine and on a 1976 tandem trailer with newer tires. Interior features bucket type front seats with full width padded dash front seat backs feature beverage storage locker and pull-down doors that double as small table surface. The gauge panel was completely redone and rewired. Hull and deck re varnished in 2019 with transom re done in 2021. Full engine bay lighting w 2 batteries with dual trickle charger. Run several times every year, last time in water fall of 2020.
Rudder shaft packing replaced this spring.
